After the INF Treaty, What Is Next?

While neither the U.S. or Russia are willing to resolve their dispute over compliance of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, both countries consider backing out. This article discusses the consequences of the Treaty’s collapse and possible next steps to maintain International Arms Control. 

Significance: If the INF Treaty comes to an end, the United States and Russia will have to consider how its collapse will impact the military rise of key international players like China and European countries. Primary states involved would then need to consider whether to develop and utilize new missiles, exercise restraint procedures, or establish preventative measures for future international arms races.
