In 2017, the Brookings Institute convened eight scholars and affiliates to reassess the nuclear New World Order after the end of the Cold War and including new potential players, such as Iran and North Korea.
[b]Significance:[/b] The conversation found that there has been a drastic shift in Security and proliferation priorities. Russia has taken a more aggressive stance, and America needs to make a more conscious effort to reaffirm and commit to world peace. Given the deterioration of the relationships between the US, Russia and China, and the development of new technologies, new focus needs to be placed on the peace process.
