Protocol On Prohibition Or Restriction On The Use Of Incendiary Weapons

article 3 of the conventional arms control pertains to the use of prohibition or restrictions of the use of incendiary devices on or near civilians and on enemy combatants as well as to clear vegitation with the exception of when the vegetation is being used as a strategic strong hold all forms of delivery are banned.

Significanceprevents the use of a weapons that is uncontrollable in nature and therefore indiscriminately burns; this protocol is another example of conventions annexed to the conventional arms control convention which in itself bans the use and production of weapons that cause unnecessary harm to the enemies or the civilian population in the war zone.
