Protocal On Explosives Remnants Of War

This protocols is an addition the convention and its amendments pertaining to excessively dangerous weapons this protocol states that a nation is responsible for deployed mines either tactically or financially through a United nations 3rd party. It provided what measures had t o be taken after hostilities had ceased to rid the battle field of active or inactive munitions.Â

Significance:this rehires states that have ratified the an conventional arms convention not just from deploying mines freely but also requires them to be responsible for the instances and the ones they are able to deploy in warfare.Traditionally nations wouldn’t make efforts to clean mine fields and weren’t legally required too; this prevents mine fields being forgotten and later being occupied by civilians.
