The United Kingdom pledges $5 million USD in aid to help in the ongoing Lebanese crisis. We are forming a coalition with our Western European and Middle Eastern allies, such as Jordan and France, to ensure this issue is treated with the importance it deserves. We implore others in the region like Israel and Egypt to assist in aid and backchannel negotiations for the prosperity of the region. At this time no military action will be taken by the United Kingdom.
