Summary:
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif resigned on Monday February 25, 2019. Zarif was helping with the nuclear deal for Iran which is called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). This is a deal that started under the Obama administration but President Trump withdrew from this deal. It is unsure if Zarif’s resignation would be accepted by the leaders of Iran and it is not clear when Zarif will leave his position.
