Western and Central Europe Station Chif

I am Sergio Landaverde Station Chief of Intelligence for Western and Central Europe. I work for the United States, and am stationed in Paris, France. However, I cover a wide region from Poland to Portugal, the station’s mission is to gather intel about issues impacting this region and how they relate to the United States. Our mission here is to gather intelligence. At this point in time we are particularly focused on NATO and other European countries’ response to Russia’s war in Ukraine. Alongside this monitoring the polarized and increasingly hostile political situations in Europe, who are facing a slew of nationalist far-right parties gaining power. I report any relevant information and unfolding events to the Secretary of State, and any other relevant parties who need the intel we gather.
